Large swaths of the population have more free time than ever before and they spend most of it scrolling. I am pessimistic

Well that’s because most people work all day and come home tired. It’s tough to self actualize when you’re too tired to think.

And I don’t even know if it’s true that people have more free time. A lot of people have side hustles like Uber or whatever to make extra money.

True crime is pretty popular around the world.

I’d expect it to bring up something though, given that search engines can pull a ton of irrelevant content farm crap at the least for some of the most specific searches I’ve done.

There is no legitimate explaination for why there is no infinite scroll of for example, water tanks.

It does very well for anyone who uses it as a store of value over a long time span. It's obviously not a currency, there are other coins for that.
