Will this have any impact on medicine supply? I know that drug supply chain issues are pretty well tracked so I wonder if we will see a spike in shortages for different types of drugs.

Yes and no. Pharma are high enough margin per gram/mL that they can stomach paying air freight without pushing too many extra costs to the consumer.

Lots of cheap bulk components are sent by sea, but not obligated to like some hazmat.

But stuff stuck at sea is stuck at sea.
